Our Story
In 2018, I quit my job as a television writer producer in New York. We packed up our car and moved our family to Austin, TX. We needed a change of pace and the kids needed their space. Since then I’ve become a food blogger, major home baker and a confectionary connoisseur in our new town.
Through my baking blog, I set out to make the best cookies out there. And after years of reading articles, blogs and books as well as baking up countless batches in my own kitchen, I finally discovered something that I couldn’t wait to share. I’ve realized that the most flavorful cookies were made using the amazing local ingredients from around Texas and that aging your cookie dough is what made all the difference between a good cookie and the best cookie you’ve ever tasted!
